WATER & WASTEWATER SECTOR

 

The typical infrastructure for a wastewater system consists of a central treatment facility which are supplied wastewater from distributed lift stations. The typical network topology consists of a DCS at the treatment facility. RTUs operate the equipment at the lift stations and relay data back to the treatment facility through telemetry systems. The SCADA server makes data from the remote stations available to DCS.
